Martingale collars are a great tool to use on walks. The main difference between a martingale collar and a regular collar is that it tightens up as your dog pulls. The purpose of this is not to choke your dog, but to prevent them from escaping their collar. Many dogs have heads that are the same size or smaller than their neck. With a regular collar, when a dog backs up or wiggles from excitement, they may be able to slip out of the collar. With a martingale collar, when this happens, the collar tightens and prevents it from coming up over a dog's head. Many rescues use this type of collar when training a new dog to walk on leash.

These collars are awesome. They give you the safety of a martingale collar, especially while out on walks, and the buckle makes it very easy to get on and off when needed. But the buckle also has a red switch to keep it locked in place when the collar is on, for added safety.
Other than the safety, they’re made of sturdy material, the size range is fantastic, and the colors are bright and fun. Love them!
I have to say I wish I knew about these martingale collars years ago! I’m on my 8th baby and these are the best collars for him because he’s still in training. Back in the day I used the metal chains and the ones with the prongs- I felt they were so harsh- These martingale collars are fabric and still good for training and safe so your dog doesn’t get loose- I will forever use these collars from now on- Plus the fact that this company gives back to shelters and animals in need- it a no brainer!!
These collars are a much safer option than most martingale collars due to their quick release buckle. Not to mention, the quality is very high. It’s comfortable and will be the last collar you have to buy!
We ordered about $700 worth of these collars just to start a small inventory to have on hand. We compared them to several other brands, and the quality and colors are amazing! We will continue to use and stock them for the future. And better yet! they support such an amazing cause!
